This year, we performed the following two tasks as a service task for the development of excellent varieties of poplar and willow to promote biomass production.
1. Systematic Classification and Arrangement of Hyangsan Historical Museum
Participants: Young-Boon Koo (Director of Tasks), Wan-Yong Choi, Jung-Oh Hyun, Eun-Woon Noh
Systematic classification was carried out so that the valuables of Hyangsan, a valuable cultural heritage, can be used without being arranged and left unattended. Categorized and cataloged 2368 points such as letters, documents, and artifacts.
Discuss the need for additional work to efficiently manage and classify undiscovered data.
2. Excellent aspen tree and excellent clone selection
Participants: Young Bon Koo (Director), Eunwoon Noh, Sungkyu Lee
In preparation for environmental changes and the aging of the original group of selected clones, 33 additional excellent clones were selected from natural forests such as Seorak, Odae and Sokwang.
By examining the 28-year performance of the plantation clones in 1992, we analyzed the survival rate, growth, adaptability, stability, and early selection potential of each clone, and identified the three best clones that showed overwhelming performance (quenching 4, Bangdong 5, and Sukam 2).
